I haven’t been to San Diego in about 8 years, but from what I remember, it was an awesome city, so I’m really pumped to have a trip lined up in early November. Myself and a few business partners booked the trip together to attend a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu camp that’ll be going on for a few days. We all have a small online business together, and it just so happens that we all do BJJ as well, so it’s always fun (and productive) to meet up.
For those of you not familiar with what Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is, I’ll get into it in much greater detail down the road, but in short, it’s a form a submission grappling. We’re going to be doing the camp with an incredibly talented world champion named Rubens "Cobrinha" Charles from Brazil. I’m really looking forward to it! I also managed to book a direct flight to SD and back entirely off frequent flyer miles, so it only cost me $5.00. Sweeet!
Here’s a clip of "Cobrinha" doing his thing. If you’re not a BJJ/MMA person this might just look like dudes rolling around… That’s okay, I’ll educate you down the road. Enjoy!
This is a fairly new blog detailing some of my interests, along with my general day to day encounters.
Most of the posts should be on topics familiar to the average reader, but I may get nerdy on you
once in a while...sorry about that. I generally post every few days, so check back often! To learn
